Greg is Vice President of Clinical Operations for Horizon Health Network, where he is responsible for the following programs: Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Oncology and Breast Health, Radiation Oncology, Health and Aging, Family Medicine, Ambulatory Care, and Women and Children’s Health, as well as the NB Perinatal Health Program, a provincial program.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, Greg moved to Ottawa to pursue his post-secondary education. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Political Science and Economics) degree and Master of Health Administration degree, both from the University of Ottawa.
Greg held several senior leadership roles at The Ottawa Hospital (TOH), notably as the Clinical Director of the Regional Cancer Program, the Director of Medical Affairs and as the Executive Director at the TOH Academic Medical Organization AFP (Alternate Funding Plan). During his time at TOH, he played a key role in leading the development and implementation of innovative oncology programs, as well as the capital redevelopment and expansion of the Regional Cancer Program.
Since 2013, Greg has been the Vice President, Operations for the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) where he has led a team of laboratory professionals, physicians and scientists in the delivery of more than 14 million tests annually to 16 member hospitals across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. Most recently, Greg played a key role in the coordination and delivery of laboratory diagnostic support in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Eastern Ontario.
He is an ICD Certified Not for Profit (NFP) Director and an active board member of the Canadian Medical Equipment Protection Plan (CMEPP). Greg looks forward to his move back to New Brunswick with his wife and four children to join Horizon in serving the community and province he has always called home.
