Martin’s work career in the healthcare system spans more than 25 years, including senior level experience in both the public sector and private health service provider environments. He has a proven track record of achieving results in the Ontario hospital sector, and currently works as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the Brockville General Hospital.
Martin has a range of governance and board experience having serving on the Board of Directors with a Crisis Centre for victims of domestic violence, and as Board Chair with Deafblind Services of Ontario. He was a member of the Police Services Board in his municipality, and has served on the Audit Committee of the local School Board.
Martin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, and has also completed the Advanced Health Leadership Program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
