Provincial Laboratory Medicine Services
As the Executive Director of Laboratory Operations – Provincial Laboratory Medicine Services, Pam Ramsay is responsible for the laboratory operations for 27 laboratories across the Lower Mainland of B.C. and is the operations lead for COVID-19 Provincial Laboratory Response. For the two years prior, she was the Executive Director for Lower Mainland Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Pam has been with PHSA for nine years holding other provincial positions – Provincial Director for Stroke Services BC and Provincial Executive Director for Cardiac Services BC.
Pam has special interest in leadership and leadership development and has worked as a consultant to a number of private sector organizations. As well, she serves on a national research board – Cardiac Arrhythmia Network and has served on national committees with the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
